meditatiNG IN TOKAJ
As you may know, our women in wine expos are always unique. This year, as we celebrate our fifth anniversary, we're creating an event that's truly one-of-a-kind. It's also in May, the 5th month of the year. In 2025. What does the number 5 represent in our lives? Why is it associated with dynamics? Let's explore this together in the country of science.
In celebration of our fifth anniversary, we are hosting the event in the country where biodynamic farming originated. Our venue, with its organic vineyards, features a chapel with a breathtaking view of the world. Imagine spending the day gazing at the blue, purple, and pink skies, soaking in the tranquillity and beauty around you. It's an opportunity to embrace silence and appreciate everything in this stunning setting, a place that is sure to excite and intrigue you.
This inspired us to curate several sessions featuring an extraordinary woman who embodies the essence of our conference, venue, and theme. We aim to foster a learning environment where we can all grow and learn from one another. We have planned ‘open air’ sessions that include meditation guided by Karuna Vasantha. She will lead a meditation session on Thursday morning around the chapel, a laughter yoga session on Friday morning, and a closing meditation to wrap up the conference. These sessions are not just designed to inspire and motivate you, but to spark personal growth on your journey of self-discovery and development.
Additionally, for those who have always been curious about numerology, Karuna will be available. You can sign up for complimentary one-on-one sessions with Karuna, where she will provide insights based on your birthday and answer other questions to guide you through your life. Rest assured, we've got all the logistics covered. We will take care of your towel and water. You only need to walk with us to the chapel.
KARUNA VASANTHA
Karuna Vasantha, born in 1981 in the Netherlands, is a therapist and author who sees herself as a lifelong student. As a neurodivergent individual, she has always experienced and uniquely interpreted the world. After confronting some of the darkest aspects of life, she became an expert by experience and later a laughter therapist. She found it essential to entertain and support her fellow human beings in diverse ways. Her goals include enrichment, innovation, and self-reliance.
Karuna: "Living with a 'backpack' of autism, ADHD, chronic post-traumatic stress disorder, and recurrent depression, life is often a challenge. To cope, I spent years numbing myself and escaping into different addictions, seven of which I overcame on my own. Eventually, I made a drastic change because I realized I still had a purpose. I chose to become a transformer, aiming to be a helping hand and proof that one can transform themselves and create a meaningful life after trauma. I want to emphasize that while it's not easy, it is possible. So, never underestimate your own possibilities or abilities!"
