Women in wine Expo: discovering wine together
Whether you're just dipping your toe into the world of winemaking or you’ve made career in the wine business, we believe that traveling and experiencing wine regions yourself, will add value to your future career. That’s why the Women in Wine Expo is like a roadshow. The first WIWE-participants came to the Netherlands and Belgium, then we traveled to Georgia, the cradle of wine, just to meet again a year later in London and Kent. This year we chose for a great wine city to have our fourth annual Women in Wine Expo:
PORTO!
THE REBELLO
Situated on Gaia´s banks of the river, The Rebello is the perfect place to explore the home of Port Wine. A unique hotel built within the solid stonework of the UNESCO warehouses that raised Porto. Revel in the unrivalled views across the Douro to Porto’s historic centre before exploring on foot past the grand port lodges and across the Dom Luís I Bridge.

wow: the world of wine
We will kick off our 3-day event with a glass of delicious (port) wines in this area, the historic heart of Vila Nova de Gaia. This small city is just a short distance from the centre of Porto, and the Douro River. The cultural district WOW is a celebration of Portugal, its rich culture, history and industry to explore.
WOW was born from the renovation of old port wine cellars, which were transformed to create an entire district which is home to museums, restaurants, bars, shops, a wine school and a gallery for exhibitions. It’s here where we will bring our worlds of knowledge, have fun and create unforgettable experiences together.
